 ties. We are an all-volunteer group of energetic and dedicat
 ed women working to make Fayette County a better place to li
 ve. Charities are selected through a grant application revie
 w process. Funding is raised through the TWL Gala\, held annu
 ally on the first Saturday of March. Since 2004\, Texas Women
 ’s League has awarded more than $1\,000\,000 in grants to 70
 + charitable organizations. A vast majority of members are a
 ctively engaged in a portion of the gala production and/or s
 upport of one or more of the selected charities.
